Digital Cultural Adventures bring the Chinese Museum to your classroom!

Schools can choose from a range of themed programs to learn about the Chinese Museum collection. Suitable for primary and secondary levels, Digital Cultural Adventures address Victorian curriculum, such as History and Intercultural Understanding.

Students can learn about the amazing inventions from Ancient China, hear about dragons and their important role in Chinese New Year festivities, or step back in time to bear witness to the journeys and stories of the first Chinese Australians.

More interactive programs include a virtual Kung Fu lesson with an experienced instructor, and Chinese Lantern Making with specially printed red paper.

All programs are led by trained guides and facilitated via Webex, the recommended video-conferencing platform of the Department of Education, Victoria.

Price list for the program:

-Chinese Lantern Making: $220 per session plus cost of materials; (maximum 30 students)

-Amazing Inventions from Ancient China: $220 per session; (maximum 30 students)

-Wing Chun Kung Fu: $297 per session; (maximum 30 students)

-Dragons and Celebration: $220 per session; (maximum 30 students)

-The Promise of Gold: $220 per session; (maximum 30 students)
