Event description

Description

The Emerging Writers Group led by Director of New Writing Jeffrey Jay Fowler, is one of many artist development programs run by Black Swan State Theatre Company. Emerging Western Australian playwrights apply for year-long support and meet once a month for discussion and mentoring, with the aim of developing their story and script writing skills. This public play reading is the culmination of this intensive program, where the playwrights work with professional directors and actors to further refine their plays for the stage. All play readings are FREE. Numbers limited, registrations essential.
