Future of Work - Lightning Decision Jam

Future of Work Day - Thursday 5 September

Deep Dive Session
Startups & Councils 'Lightning Decision Jam' - how can Startups and councils collaborate to increase economic development in local communities?

Synopsis: Despite loving where they live, many startup founders still chose to commute into Melbourne to run their business. One of the key reasons is that they feel there are more resources in Melbourne to help them grow a sustainable and healthy business.

But what if their own Local council was able to support their growth closer to home, while in turn, they could help the economic development of their municipality?

To help solve this problem, Entrepreneurs&Co, supported by Marketing Entourage, will run a lightning decision jam on ‘How might startups and councils work closer together to enable more businesses to grow within their own local community?’

Join our interactive, fun and exciting session, where you can provide your input and work together to help solve this problem.

Host and workshop facilitators: Warwick Peel and Phil Ore, co-founders of Entrepreneurs&Co, supported by Samantha Hurley, co-founder of Marketing Entourage

Braindate at DIF

The opportunity to learn from each other while attending events and conferences is immense but can be difficult to realise. How can we spark the knowledge-sharing conversations between research, business and startup communities which can be so valuable?

At DIFvic we want you to be inspired and connected to potential collaborators so we have partnered with an organisation that is on a mission is to transform the way humans learn throughout the world. Together we are bringing business matching in the form of 'Braindates' to this year's festival. Hopefully helping you to have a valuable DIF experience.

The DIF2019 Braindate Lounge will be at the Victorian Innovation Hub at the Goods Shed with Stone and Chalk on Thu 29 Aug. When you book a ticket to any of the DIF Hub sessions you to receive a special 'Braindate' activation code.
