Diabetes in Schools - Workshop for ACT Parents/Carers 1

Thank you for registering to attend the Diabetes Australia workshop.

This workshop will consist of short activities designed to help us understand the current situation and design the future training and education program for the management of type 1 diabetes in schools nationwide. During the workshop we will explore with you:

• What works well and what is difficult.

• Roles and responsibilities for parents, students, teachers and schools, principals and the Department of Education.

• What an ideal training and education program looks like.

Parking is available upon request for attendees of this workshop. Please email diabetesinschools@au.pwc.com if you require parking.

Please note laptops are not required for the workshop and writing materials will be provided.

Light refreshments along with tea and coffee will be provided. Please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance.
