Diabetes in Schools is an information and training program designed to support families and schools to help students with type 1 diabetes.

About this event

Diabetes in Schools is an information and training program designed to support families and schools to help students with type 1 diabetes thrive at school. Level 2 Group Education is part of the training offered through the program. This face-to-face level 2 training is designed for designated school staff who volunteer to be directly involved in supporting students with type 1 diabetes.

This one-day, level 2 group education workshop offers school staff the opportunity to expand their knowledge and become more confident in supporting students with type 1 diabetes. Training is general and is not specific to the needs of individual students.

IMPORTANT

Participants are required to bring their own lunch, snacks and a pen.
