Ever wondered what exactly the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) does? What role does DFAT play in Australian foreign policy making, and how is the department changing to ensure it advances Australia's national interests in the Indo-Pacific century?
Young Australians in International Affairs invites you to join us for a discussion on the evolution and operations of DFAT at DFAT's Queensland Office in Brisbane City at 6pm on 31 October 2016 with DFAT's Queensland Director, Alison Carrington. Not only will you gain a greater understanding of DFAT's work in Australia and overseas, but attendees will also learn about careers in the department.
Tickets are essential so please RSVP via the Eventbrite link in the event description. Spaces will be extremely limited due to capacity constraints, so secure your place as soon as possible to avoid missing out. Due to the limited number of seats available, we ask that anyone who has RSVP'd but is no longer able to attend informs our team at email@example.com so we can open a space to someone else.
