Developing the Holistic Educator

A 2 day breakthrough conference uniquely designed for Leadership, Teachers, SSO’s and Educators within the Australian Education System

The intention for this conference is to provide an opportunity for the role models in the Education System to come together and learn valuable tools, techniques and gather knowledge and wisdom from a collection of key note speakers and facilitators towards creating an empowerment platform and community for leadership, teachers, educators and SSO’s in schools to:

1) Acknowledge the invaluable contribution they are providing to our children

2) Provide information, resources and factual knowledge to support their personal wellbeing within their demanding roles

3) To empower our children through a holistic approach to classroom education

4) To build a Holistic Education Community connected by a common goal

It’s time to meet the speakers!

Kale Brock is an award nominated writer, producer and speaker. After overcoming his own serious health issues as a teenager using nutrition and lifestyle tools, Kale developed a passion for researching and sharing health information with the public. Kale is an Indigenous Australian of Barngarla descent and is passionate about educating the public on Australian aboriginal agricultural subjects.

Niki Buchan is an International Educational Consultant. She has a great love for the outdoors and has been working with both adults and young children in very consultative, naturalistic and sensorial environments both indoors and outdoors for more than 35 years. She has vast experience working directly with children and educators as an educator, pedagogical leader, head of centres, as well as founder and owner of her own child care and education centres.

Christopher Phoenix’s passion for mindfulness turned professional after his appearance on Australia’s most popular national morning television show, Sunrise. Christopher is motivated to increase well-being practices in the education setting and is excited to be developing programs that do just that. He spends his time travelling Australia undertaking Workplace Well-being Workshops and Keynote Presentations.

Ashley Manual, while teaching as a primary school physical education teacher in Adelaide, South Australia, discovered a number of people who excelled in their chosen field identified gratitude & happiness as the key to their success and achievements. Ash left primary school teaching and decided to combine his skills as a teacher with the principles he learned that lead to his breakthroughs and created Growing With Gratitude – a global positive education/wellbeing program that helps to build and protect children’s mental wellbeing.

David Chadwick is the Principal of Walkerville Primary School, in Adelaide, South Australia. David has been principal in five different schools, country and metropolitan, large and small and of varying socio-economic status. He has been a White Ribbon Ambassador since 2011 and is a former Deputy Chairperson of the White Ribbon SA Committee and is passionate about the cause and about the power that working with young people can bring in changing attitudes and behaviours towards violence against women.

With a panel of expert speakers who are individuals who are truly walking their talk, this IS the conference to attend on the 6th and 7th September 2019 in Adelaide!

As the conference organiser, I am thrilled to be able to bring together an informative and powerful group of speakers and facilitators towards empowering our future generation through a holistic approach to education in Australia and beyond.
