Destiny in mind
Sat. 29 October 2016, 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm AEDT
YES! it's happening again Ladies!! Mark it in your calenders!! It is going to be bigger and better. Come along have a great night, while helping rescue and protect vulnerable children and women who are being expoilted, enslaved and worse. These children have lost the most precious part of themselves, their innocence, to the evil human trafficking trade. The organisation 'Destiny Rescue' is one organisation that is making a difference by rescuing, rehabilitating and protecting other potential victims of human trafficking. The rescued children have their lives turned around, coming from a life where their childhood was stolen, to a life of freedom, love, care and opportunity, through Destiny Rescue.
Part of this night will be to show off, and hopefully sell all of the really cool jewellery that the rescued girls make themselves. All the money raised from the jewellery sales, goes directly back to the girls who created them. All the other profits will go to the tireless workers of Destiny Rescue and to programs it provides.
There will be delicious snacks provided, and a bar for drinks, with one complimentary glass of wine or cool drink on arrival. I will play a short informative DVD about Destiny Rescue. There will good music, entertainment, a silent auction, so don't forget your purse. :) It is cash only for the jewelry. Prices range from $5-$45. Ticket costs will be going towards the costs of the event, and then the remaining money will also go back to the Destiny Rescue organization. With the silent auction you have the option of paying cash on the night you can direct deposit the money and we will send you the item you win.
It is Fancy Dress also!! The theme is: come as a woman from history. She can be an inventor, an activist, a sports woman, a celebrity. Basically, whoever! (This is not compulsory but it will be more fun) There will be a great prize for the best dressed. There will also be a couple of door prizes, so keep hold of your tickets. :)
Dear Men I still value all your help and support. I am sure you don't mind that, (unless you want to dress up like a girl), you may want to skip this event, but we still welcome your support in the many ways you provide it. Bless ya's :)
