Do you have a tourism business idea? Are you in the process of developing a new tourism product?

About this event

Destination Riverina Murray and Murray Regional Tourism have partnered to support and inspire tourism businesses towards the development of new visitor experiences within the Riverina Murray, through their Destination Inspiration Events and Mentoring Program.

Participation at this Swan Hill event is $40 and includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and drinks. There is also an option to attend virtually (via live-stream) for $30.

The day will feature guest speakers from the tourism industry, who have built a successful tourism product and are motivating others to do the same. Participants will be provided with a digital toolkit including:

  • An invitation to apply for the Mentoring Program.
  • Destination NSW resources including the Develop, Promote, Sell series and resources from Visit Victoria.
  • Business development resources from Destination Riverina Murray and Murray Regional Tourism.
  • A list of key contacts for government and non-government organisations who can help you progress your tourism business idea.

Participants at the Destination Inspiration event series who wish to advance their ideas, will then be invited to express their interest in participating in the one-on-one mentoring program. This 6-month program will have spaces for up to 15 participants and is designed to accelerate the product development process and progress ideas into new or enhanced experiences for visitors to the region. Note: Preference will be given to those who attend this one-day event either in person or remotely.

This Destination Inspiration Event Series and Mentoring Program is supported by the Commonwealth Government’s Building Better Regions Fund.

This is a COVIDSafe event. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell. Should this even be impacted by COVID-19, you will be notified via email and your ticket will be refunded.
