About this event

Discover the passion and talent of over 500 graduating students as we present the inaugural celebration of the work produced from our capstone design subject.

The designX showcase will take over Level 4 of the Glyn Davis Building, with design work from students majoring in Architecture, Civil Engineering Systems, Computing, Construction, Digital Infrastructure Engineering Systems, Digital Technologies, Graphic Design, Landscape Architecture, Mechanical Engineering Systems, Performance Design, Property, and Urban Planning.

6pm-8pm: Launch Party at Glyn Davis Building, Parkville Campus Enter via the ground-level foyer where you will be greeted by student guides with event passports to guide you through all the work on display, and will be served canapes, cocktails, and other delicious treats.

8pm -10pm: After Party at Linear Park & Betwixt Cafe, Southbank Campus Head down to the Southbank campus where the celebrations continue at Betwixt Café and Linear Park in the heart of Melbourne’s Arts Precinct with a stunning projection display of student design works, food & drinks, DJ, and much more.

All are welcome to attend - REGISTRATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL!

Direct tram to Southbank Campus is No.1 Tram departing from Melbourne University Stop 1 to Stop 17, Sturt Street. For all other trams departing Melbourne University at Stop 1 to Stop 14 (Arts Precinct - St Kilda Road).
