Designing services in partnership with people and families
Fri. 24 March 2017, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm AWST
This workshop draws on international examples of co-production or genuine partnerships to design and develop services and supports to people who are looking for support now or in the future.
We will explore the principles of co-production including:
- Recognising people as assets
- Valuing work differently
- Promoting reciprocity
- Building social networks
The workshop will look at a range of areas where partnerships are needed including:
- Leadership and governance
- Operational implementation
This workshop is open to partners – ideally a worker with responsibility for leadership and influence in an organisation and a person/family member who is interested in having an influence in that organisation. People can of course book themselves, however we recommend a partnership from the start and as you mean to go on!
