Event description

Description

How do we create safer cities and spaces for women and girls? How does urban design exclude women and marginalised groups? What is the role of gender-sensitive design in fostering individual and community wellbeing?

Join us as we explore these questions with Dr Nicole Kalms, the Director of XYX Lab and Deputy Associate Dean of Research in the Faculty of Art Design and Architecture at Monash University. This event will take place in recognition of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence – a campaign that takes action to end violence against women and girls around the world.
