Design Thinking Workshop

Design Thinking is a method of creating solutions to problems. More and more small to medium enterprises (SME’s) and start-ups are accelerating their operations, solving problems and driving innovation by applying design thinking.

This workshop helps unlock creative potential within organisations and shapes innovative ideas to be more customer focused.

Cost Open to all NSW-based SME’s free of charge as part of the Boosting Business Innovation Program.

Why You Should Attend

Participants learn by doing, experimenting, collaborating, and thinking with their hands. The three hour workshop will introduce participants to the design thinking process, focussing on skills of empathy, inspiration, ideation and rapid prototyping.

Outcomes

Through this workshop participants will:

  • Gain an understanding of design thinking
  • Gain an insight into how you can apply design thinking to accelerate your business operations, solve problems and bring ideas to life quickly
  • Undertake a deep dive into the future of design
  • Find out more about government funding opportunities
  • Start conversations around research, collaboration and technology transfer


This workshop is a joint initiative between the University of Wollongong and the University of NSW Boosting Business Innovation Partners.
