Describing Your Impact for Funders

Describing Your Impact for Funders

By Researcher Development Academy
Online event

Overview

Learn how to describe your research impact in a way that funders can understand.

This workshop, which has been developed with Wade Kelly, will provide researchers with advice about how to describe their impact in ways that assessors and funders can understand. It seeks to help researchers to write about engagement, impact & translation in grant applications. It focuses on writing about this at various stages of the grant and writing statements backed by evidence.

By the end of this workshop, researchers should understand how to write statements about the inspiration and drivers for their project; where they will source information and data for the project; who will be involved in the project; and how they plan to translate their ideas for the greatest benefit. They will have good examples of these sorts of statements from successful ARC grants.

*Please note this session is for Deakin University researchers only.
