a weekend masterclass with Godwin Bradbeer

Saturday 29 – Sunday 30 June

10am – 3pm

$200 including all materials and light lunch*


Increase your capacity to initiate and develop a human imagery with creative confidence. Godwin Bradbeer will guide you through a series of drawing studies depicting the human form with attention given to both portraiture and the figure.

Day one will focus on dynamic drawings of the full human figure (clothed) interpreting and observing the body’s movements. Day two will concentrate on intense studies of the head and upper body. Two models will be present each day to observe in a three-dimensional forms.

Godwin will give frequent demonstration and guide you to capture the model’s muscle definition, skin texture, shade, tone and emotional gestures. Materials provided for the session will include charcoal, pastel, conte and paper. Participants are also welcome to bring preferred personal drawing materials.

Intermediate to experienced drawers will benefit from this masterclass.
