Event description
Explore the beautiful private garden of one of WA's most-loved garden journalists.

About this event

Bryngardd is the stunning garden of Deryn Thorpe, a fanatical gardener and also one of WA’s most-loved garden journalists. Member’s of Open Gardens West Coast are being invited to come inside the front gate, be inspired, and learn first hand some of the secrets to her beautiful garden.

Deryn’s garden is brimming with interesting plants, with arrangements of objects and pot plants artistically positioned in the outdoor ‘rooms’ that are begging to be photographed or painted as a ‘Still Life’ portraits. She is a fanatical gardener, who fortunately for us, is passionate about communicating her love of gardening to others.

Deryn started the podcast ‘All The Dirt’ in 2017 with her colleague Steve Wood to inspire people to connect with the soil, provide the skills and confidence so people can become new or better gardeners and provide an outlet to discuss the concepts of sustainability and good food. It is deservedly the most popular gardening podcast.

It is not too late to become a member of Open Gardens West Coast and get your invitation to visit this beautiful garden and enjoy mingling with like-minded people. Only a low $30 per year to join – visit the website here.

The address will be emailed to you.
