Join ORCHA for a night of shimmering sounds, lights and sensory wonders as he launches his new single ‘Depths’ at Tamale Studios in Northcote. Following the release of ‘Reverie’ in May this year, ORCHA has been steadily establishing himself as a distinctive live performer and invites you to participate in this unique experience, to celebrate and enjoy a culmination of creative ideas. Joined by Leafy Suburbs (Lyndon Blue) and Sault on sounds, sweeping visuals from DREZ across Tamale Studio’s seven meter cyclorama walls and more special guests, this is more than just a gig: come sink into the Depths.

Using violin as his primary instrument, ORCHA crafts experimental, immersive, intricate soundscapes that oscillate between acoustic sounds and electronica. In his new work ‘Depths’ ORCHA explores sinking into an emotion or feeling that might at first seem uncomfortable or foreign, but learning to use that feeling to grow stronger and more focused. It's also inspired by underwater imagery, drawing upon the idea that the underwater landscape is familiar yet otherworldly, a place that almost seems like it comes from a science fiction novel.
