Suzanne Amarasingham and Arpita Adhicary are Senior Data Governance Managers at ANZ Bank. Prior to Data Governance, Suzanne worked in Finance roles while Arpita worked in Change/Transformation roles. Although their backgrounds are different, both Suzanne and Arpita are on a mission to take the conceptual world of Data Governance and make it real.
About the speakers
Suzanne Amarasingham is the Senior Data Governance Manager for the Institutional business at ANZ Bank. In this role she’s responsible for ensuring the division is globally compliant with Enterprise and local regulatory requirements relating to the quality, access, usage and governance of data. On a mission to take the conceptual world of data gov and make it real.

Arpita Adhicary is the “Data Governance - Initiative Lead” for Enterprise Finance division at ANZ Bank. In this role, she’s responsible for establishing and leading a data governance function within the Finance division which includes leading implementation of data governance policies & standards, establishing effective data management practices and embedding a data quality mindset/culture. Prior to this role, Arpita has accumulated rich and diverse consulting experience via delivering change/transformation Programs with various Banks across multiple geographies.
Arpita is committed to public speaking, mentoring, influencing, and cultivating a growth mindset in the broader community. In her free time, Arpita enjoys reading, writing, practicing yoga, hiking, driving, cooking, and gardening.
