DELEGATE REGISTRATION - CFA in NSW State Conference 2017
Fri. 5 May 2017, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm AEST
The Continence Foundation of Australia New South Wales Inc. is very pleased to present this one day State Conference for health professionals with a special interest in continence management.
The organizing committee of the 2017 conference has adopted the theme of 'Breaking Down the Barriers' to reflect the need for multidisciplinary care in the management of the patient with incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Nowadays, management of the above issues are no longer just a 'doctor's problem'.
With the explosion of knowledge and research into the epidemiology, anatomy, pathophysiology, investigative tools, as well as conservative and surgical methods, comes the need for various expertise to co-manage the patient.
Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and the list goes on. For optimal treatment outcome, this amalgamation of care has to occur as one does not have all the knowledge to adequately manage these often complex patients.
The topics we have chosen will address these issues. We have again lined up an impressive list of speakers from different disciplines to illustrate why continence care is best delivered when barriers are broken down and we uses each other's expertise to give out the best care.
Thank you all for making a commitment to support this important annual educational event and the management committee would like to also thank CFA National and all the sponsors for making this day come to fruition.
