This informal networking session is an opportunity for experienced consumer representatives to report to the group on their committee’s work and outcomes.
Special guest: Helen Mees from Ipswich, is a member of our consumer network and sits as a consumer on a number of committees including the Queensland Health Consumer Collaborative, Queensland Health Innovation Fund steering committee and a statewide committee on Care at the End of Life. She’ll share her experiences, challenges and achievements of the consumer role.
We’ll also be talking about the 2017 Annual Forum and we can share ideas for abstracts. You can find out what an abstract is and what you might like to include in one.
Bring your ideas and passion along so together we can improve partnerships between consumer representatives and health services.
We'll discuss this around a table with a cup of tea and a biscuit (please let us know if you have any dietary requirements).
