We will be making two of the most traditional sweets enjoyed by Italians during the Christmas period.
Sweet chestnut ravioli... Delicate, thin, sweet pastry filled with a bold and rich mix of chestnut puree, chocolate, liquer and of course, coffee. Unforgetable. If you you wish, you may make up the mixture to your own personal taste....Just like the Italians do.
Tronchetto di Natale or The Yule Log... A roll of delicate cake filled with a delicious chocolate ganache and decorated like the cut branch of a tree. Beautiful to look at and heaps of fun to decorate. Learn to make it then teach the kids. Great for any type of Christmas event, be it a BBQ or formal sit down dinner. If you need to impress then this is what you're looking for.
