Event description

Description

Deakin students and families are invited to join us for an informal dinner to mark the significance of Ramadan in our Muslim community.

This informal sit-down dinner will include the breaking of the fast and prayer time for Muslim guests.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jane Den Hollander, is our guest speaker and Imam Riad Galil, one of Deakin's Multifaith Chaplains, will provide an introduction to the importance of Ramadan in a Muslim’s life.

Our Iftar dinner is family-friendly event; children are most welcome.

For catering purposes, please book a ticket for each person attending.
