Event description

Description

DDD Perth is holding an exclusive and free presentation submission and speaker preparation workshop for first time and less experienced presenters!

DDD Perth is a non profit event aimed at providing an inclusive experience for the Perth software community. Our goal is to create an approachable conference that anyone can attend or speak at, especially people that don't normally get to attend / speak at conferences. We do this by:

  • Making the ticket price as low as possible ($50)
  • Running the event on a Saturday
  • Allowing anyone to submit about any software industry related topic
  • Having a democratically chosen agenda
  • Focussing on creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome

If you are a first time or less experienced presenter, come down and get some experienced help with writing a submission (for DDD Perth!). We will have a range of mentors on board to help you out who are all experienced presenters. As well as covering the workshop content our mentors will be more than happy to provide general speaking advice or answer any questions you have.

Workshop material has been kindly donated by Fenders, augmented with Global Diversity CFP Day material and a cherry popped on top by DDD Perth!
