The relationship between a mother and daughter is often significantly and unexpectedly impacted following the mother’s diagnosis of dementia. This course is designed for daughters to understand and explore this impact.

An experienced facilitator leads participants in discussions of:

• The mother daughter relationship
• Patterns of caring through the generations
• The nature of grief and loss while caring
• Managing the sense of isolation associated with caring
• Strategies which support resilience while caring

This program runs over four consecutive weeks of two hours each session. Attendees must attend all sessions to complete the program.

Please note that due to the public holiday on Monday, 13 June 2022, the second week of this session will be held on Wednesday, 15 June 2022.

There is no need to download any software in order to participate in this online workshop, therefore you will only need to click on the link to join the session at starting time.
