WHAT TO EXPECT
We’re bringing a new way of dating to town, with a deliciously different ice breaker - and let us be clear, this is NOT SPEED DATING. Let’s take the cringe out of regular dating events by throwing what Melbourne is known best for into the mix; food and wine. If one of your non-negotiables is someone who is a foodie, then let us make things easy by introducing you to a room full of them!
After calming the nerves with a glass of sparkling, Melbourne Wine Expert, Jackson Watson will guide you through a tasting of a selection of local wines. Jackson will impart his wine wisdom, sharing how best to sniff, swirl and savour. As you sip along you’ll also sup your way through a freshly shucked oyster bar and a lavish grazing table.
After our tasting, the grazing continues with canapés, and you can put what you’ve learnt into practice with someone you might’ve locked eyes with. And if you’re not the spontaneous type, we’ve got some quirky prompts to get the conversation flowing!

To ensure we have the best pick of the bunch, we encourage you to be part of the ‘vetting process’ by bringing mates that you don’t want to date. We’ve all had to swipe on something or other, so let’s give our poor thumbs a break for the night. Because who knows? Your friend might be someone else’s benefit 😉
