Event description

Description

The truth is out, dogs get you dates! Studies have shown that having a tail wagging wingman, makes you instantly more attractive!

Are you single and have ever swiped through Tinder and found yourself drawn to those with a puppy pal? Why? Simple. Dogs make you more approachable and show that you can take care of someone other than yourself – making you my fellow dog-loving friend, a diamond in the ruff.

As featured on The Canberra Times, FM 104.7, FM 106.3, HerCanberra, The Canberra Weekly, Adopt Don’t Shop Foundation has teamed up with Best Friends Pet Rescue to bring you a fun, flirty and funraising afternoon of dating those with doggies.

While it is most certainly a BYOD (bring your own dog) event, don’t get your tails in a knot if you don’t have your own furry friend - our pals over at Best Friends Pet Rescue will be bringing along some very cute foster pups for you to fuss over!

Your ticket will include a beverage, some nibbles for you and your fur baby, plenty of pups on hand to pet, and of course the possibility to meet the love of your life!

As this is a fundraising event, 50% of profits from ticket sales will going to Best Friends Pet Rescue - making you an even better person.

The event is for singles between 30 and 40, keeping in mind that dog-friendly hoomans and dogs are key to us all having a barking mad time!

Please not that this is a fundraising event hosted and organised by the Adopt Don't Shop Foundation. Should you have any questions regarding the event or ticket sales, please email adoptdontshopfoundation@outlook.com
