This one day workshop is compulsory for those people who have secured a scholarship from the HNECC PHN & UNE Partnerships to complete the non-accredited training course, Fundamentals of Practice Management.
A similar workshop will be held in the New England region for those people who have obtained scholarships in that region, so they don't need to travel to Newcastle.
This workshop is also open to any administration professionals working in general practice, regardless of whether they are enrolled in the full training course. However, please be aware that this workshop is structured to be part of the full training course in Fundamentals of Practice Management, so topic coverage will be limited.
Highly experienced trainers will guide participants through the continuous improvement process within general practice as part of this full day workshop. Coaching sessions will also support participants to plan and implement their future.
Workshop topics will provide reinforcement of the 4 Modules covered in the full course:
- Module 1 - Human Resource Management
- Module 2 - Business Operations
- Module 3 - Risk, Compliance & WHS
- Module 4 - Leading a Team for Practice Improvement
