How do we access up-to-date data and information about Mitchell Shire? How can we use and interpret this information to write compelling grant applications?

Understanding our Shire, its demographics and its growth can help us to design and provide better services, events and other community activities. Access and interpretation of this information, however, can often seem daunting.

This session will help to show you how to access up-to-date information and how to interpret and use this information to support your grant applications.

Content and learning outcomes include:

  • Mitchell Shire's current and future demographics
  • Where to access up-to-date data and information
  • How to interpret and use data for grant writing
  • How do you talk, write and present data in a simple yet compelling way

When: 9.45am to 12pm, Wednesday 18 August 2021

Where: Broadford Hall, 18 Murchison St Broadford.

Parking: Street parking available on High St, Murchison St and Gavan St.

RSVP: By Monday 16 August 2021*

Bookings are essential as limited spaces are available. Please book via Eventbrite as soon as possible to avoid missing out. *Due to limited space, registration will be limited to a maximum of three people per organisaton to ensure more community groups have the opportunity to participate. In the case of places exceeding maximum numbers attendees who live, work or have a significant association with the Mitchell Shire community will be given preference.

*If you are unable to attend after booking please ensure you advise our team via the contact details below to allow for others to attend. Participants who repeatedly book for Community Workshops and do not attend may be precluded from booking in the future. By proceeding with a booking you are agreeing to these terms.

Please call Community Development on 5734 6200 or email community.development@mitchellshire.vic.gov.au for more information or assistance with your booking.
