Development work is underway to review and update qualifications, skill sets and units of competency from the ACM Animal Care and Management Training Package. Included in the work being undertaken is addressing skills around educating horses, as well as transporting and branding/identifying horses. This is known as:

Horse Education Project

Face-to-face consultation workshops to seek feedback on draft materials are planned for February, with webinars planned for those unable to attend in person. Workshops will be held across Australia, giving stakeholders an opportunity to have their say about the changes proposed. Draft documents will be available at the links above in early February.
