The energy of the Dark Moon is an ending, a void and a new beginning. Literally and metaphorically, there is increasing darkness, the darkest point and then the shift toward increasing light. And herein lay the opportunity, the energy to be with, to recognise the effects of and to flow with on our life journey. We see this same pattern in the vegetation growth cycle, the seed-pod falls to the Earth, the deciduous trees look lifeless, everything appears to stop growing. However, the seed lies dormant underground, gestating; for the trees, root growth is happening, deep within the Earth and the sap is moving through the trunk, already preparing for the rebirth of spring...Just like on our bleeding days, in this magical phase of the cycle there are messages to be heard, visions to be dreamt, insights that are offered to us from the world of the unseen....
