Darebin Repair Cafe
Event Information
Description
Repair Cafes is a worldwide movement to challenge design obselence and share fix-it skills within our community.
Bring your item requiring repair to the Darebin-Banyule Repair Cafe and our community of fixers will repair it. You sit with your personal 'fixer' and explain what is wrong with your item so you can learn to repair it again in the future.
Fixing, instead of throwing out and purchasing another saves resources and keeps the fixer skills in our community alive.
Book in for a MORNING or AFTERNOON time slot for a priority in the queue, and let us know the type of item you will be bringing.
Repair Cafes are a great way to connect with others in your community and build your skills. We are keen to hear If you would like to register as a fixer, you can do it here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RepairCafeDB
