Why Dare To Lead™ Leadership?

The Dare To Lead™ curriculum cultivates brave leaders, resilient leaders, accountable and self-aware leaders; leaders that can quickly reset after falls, and leaders willing to do the brave work and have the tough conversations to harness and navigate change. And understand why Trust and Empathy are critical skills, especially in times of uncertainty.

About the Dare To Lead™ program

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program of 4 skill sets that are measurable, teachable and observable, designed to be delivered by a Certified Dare To Lead™ Facilitator. It's a workshop for individuals and teams wanting an evolved leadership experience that delivers on its research in clear and practical ways.

Your Facilitator

Debra, a Certified Dare to Lead™ (CDTLF) and Daring Way™ Facilitator (CDWF) of 5 years, and ICF, IECL Lvl 3 Executive Coach of 16 years, will guide you through:

  • Dr. Brené Brown's Dare To Lead™ curriculum
  • the lessons using her own personal stories, humour, science and knowledge
  • the skills, common language and tools required to operationalise your own courage in your organisation, workplace and life so that you can show up, be seen and heard, while standing in your own truth and values.

About Brené Brown

Brené is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, and most recently completed a seven-year study on courageous leadership. She is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and Dare to Lead, which also debuted at #1 on The Wall Street Journal and Publisher’s Weekly list.

Will there be regular breaks during the program?

Yes. Over this 2 day program your wellbeing is important, so regular breaks and activities are provided for optimal engagement and learning.

Do you run Dare To Lead™ for intact teams?

Yes. You can attend either a public program or you can bring Dare To Lead™ into your organisation. Both options are held online in a three day format or in person in your organisation. Please email the organiser to register your interest.

Can I be invoiced rather than pay through EventBrite?

Yes. Please contact anewday.com.au direct to arrange payment

What's the refund policy?

No refunds available.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes. Please notify debra@anewday.com.au 2 weeks in advance of DTL commencement date if you require to transfer your ticket to another attendee or to a future DTL date. One transfer option is allowed and must be taken within 6 months of your first booking.
