Event description
Join Corinne Estrad and David Mura, for an art talk about the giant Dante Alighieri

About this event

The poem is divided into three sections – Hell, Purgatory and Paradise – and takes us on a mysterious afterlife journey. On the occasion of Dante’s 700th anniversary, discover why the Divine Comedy has been so influential and remains so relevant and positive in the 21st century.

In partnership with the language school Italian Connections, Davide Mura, Italian art and literature PhD, and Corinne Estrada, the French expert in art history and Founder of Talking the Arts, will unfold Dante’s secret story and reveal his legacy on artists from the Renaissance to the modern era. You will understand why the poet remains so contemporary and its messages so useful to guide us throughout our human experience.

Your ticket includes a 1-hour talk, a TriviArt game with prizes (a funny and interesting networking opportunity with other art and language lovers in Sydney) and a glass of Tuscan wine !
