Dancing Reciters is a weekly program that develops speech & drama skills, and includes physical activity for children in Year 1-5.
About this event
Dancing Reciters is an ideal place to comfortably practice speech & drama, and exercise as the environment is fun, encouraging and relatable. This valuable opportunity is provided to the Year 1-Year 5 students of the Burwood community by an experienced student certified in Speech & Drama (AMEB Grade CSPA), ballet (RAD Intermediate), and is an Archdale debating champion.
Session Structure -
1. Speech & Drama: Units include - poetry, prose, public speaking, monologues, duologues, improvisation, plays, and more...
2. Recite: Perform work to the group in a collaborative and fun setting
3. Just Dance: An entertaining, interactive and easy form of guided dance
