Event description

Description

On May 18, 2017, at Aula Paolo VI in Vatican City, Rome, Pope Francis became the first world leader to recognise the devastating plight of those living with and affected by HD. The whole project came under the banner of HDdennomore (Hidden No More), as explained by award winning journalist and active HD advocate, Charles Sabine.

Watch Charles Sabine explain how and why HDdennomore came to be.

The global gathering was inspired by the plight of families from South America most ravaged by HD. Families from Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina travelled to meet with Pope Francis and join an audience of thousands at the Vatican to drive awareness of HD and to lift the stigma around the disease.

In collaboration, Huntington's New South Wales ACT, Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory, with the Huntington's Research Group of Victoria warmly invite you to be a part of this story.

Gather with your household, in the comfort of your own home and witness the online Australian Premiere of Charles Sabine's Dancing at the Vatican.

At $20 the ticket includes the viewing of the documentary for an entire household, with a special Q+A with Charles himself, alongside key leaders in the field of HD.

Places are limited so don't wait to register!

Proceeds will be donated to your local Australian HD State Association or HDYO, the International Youth Organisation.
