Topic: Metadata driven software development

There’s a lot of discussion around data centricity: data centric system design; data (or database) centric architecture; and data driven design. But what do these terms mean?

This presentation does not seek to dispel all myths. However, it touches on these data centric topics as it follows the presenter’s own data journey from application development for real-time control systems -- the forerunner to the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) -- to the culmination of a metadata driven web application framework: “verso”.

The presentation’s main focus is a case study of applying the verso framework to the DAMA Australia website members’ area.
