Today's information and data landscape is more complex and rich with potential than at any time before. How appropriate it is then that data trust and data protection are among the highest priorities for most large organisations.
Throw into the mix the recognition that data is a now a critical 'business asset' and is only likely to become even more important with the emergence of sophisticated analytics and data-centric organisations.
It's ironic then that platforms and tools to support this new world of Data Management and Data Governance are mainly slow to implement and slow to change, lack focus on critical data assets and usage patterns, and are difficult to use and frankly feel like something from the 1990's.
Guess what... it doesn't need to be like that.
