See for yourself how innovations are changing the way we can identify elite pasture performance and deliver better varieties faster.

Hamilton is the site where all the large-scale field-based pasture activities happen for DairyBio and it is the best place to see how new innovations will deliver game-changing increases in pasture yield, persistence and quality.

What will be on display?

  • World’s largest precision-planted ryegrass field trial
  • Drones and ground vehicles with advanced sensor technologies
  • Glasshouse facilities with the latest forage innovations
  • Drought-tolerance trials with novel “rain-out shelters"

Time: 10AM for a 10:30AM start. Event will conclude at 2:00PM and includes lunch.

DairyBio is a $60 million joint venture initiative between Agriculture Victoria and Dairy Australia and a range of industry partners. The initiative has a focus on dairy bioscience and its application to improve two of the biggest assets on a dairy farm – the pasture and the dairy herd.
