Event description

Description

Edith Cowan University - School of Science - Academic Centre of Cyber Security Excellence

Cybersecurity is the protection of digital devices, networks, and information from being attacked. Cybercriminals are known to access, change, and/or destroy information. ECU is an Academic Centre of Cyber Security Excellence and is proud to offer a series of workshops for High School aged students interested in cybersecurity.

Cyber challenges Phase 2# for schools is a free, hands-on workshop for high school students in grades 7–12. Participants are introduced to a range of topics with a focus on information and network security, as well as practicing cyber skills though Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges. This event is designed to highlight CTF's, encourage students to form teams and enter the WACTF in December - https://capture.tf/#info

ECU will be hosting these events during the year in conjunction with AustCyber.

So whether you’re a CTF guru or just a beginner, come along to one of our workshops
