Cyanotype Workshop with Sharon Anderson
Event Information
About this Event
Cyanotypes are an early form of photography and were used in building plans in the form of ‘blueprints’ . Cyanotypes are easy and fun to make. They can be exposed outside using the suns ultraviolet rays or inside using an exposure box with UV lights. Weather permitting we will try both methods. Another technique we will do is ‘wet cyanotype’ which can give an unpredictable but very interesting image. This is a more creative approach to cyanotypes. Be prepared for the wow! when doing cyanotypes!
Please bring pressed plants, leaves, feathers, lace, doilies, etc. Some items will be provided.
If you are unwell, please stay home.
