Event description
The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment is holding a forum to discuss cut flower and foliage imports with key stakeholders

About this Event

This forum will continue our discussion at the forum in Canberra on April 2019 on the regulatory arrangements now in place for cut flower and foliage imports to Australia.

The department will also share findings from part 2 of our pest risk analysis for cut flower and foliage imports.

Participants will also hear from one of Australia's major cut flower trading partners on the collaborative work with their domestic stakeholders to strengthen the management of biosecurity risk across their entire export supply chain.

Participants will then be invited to join a Q&A panel discussion with the department.

For those who are unable to attend, a communique will be made available following the event.

The doors will open at 9:30am with tea and coffee available on arrival. The forum will start at 10:00am. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to allow sufficient time for sign-in.

Please register your interest to attend this event and any special dietary requirements by Friday 6 March 2020.

If you have any questions, please contact Amanda Twomey on 02 6271 6339 or plantstakeholders@agriculture.gov.au
