Description

Parents, if you’re looking for somewhere fun, educational and free to take your kids over the school holidays…. We know just the destination. Bring them over to Curtin University for a whole lot of jam packed fun in its new School Holiday Program!

Bring your little ones in for a free ‘Wearing Electronics’ Workshop from 9.00am – 11.30am on Friday 6 October. In this workshop we’ll be exploring how sewable electronics work by experimenting with batteries, LED lights and conductive threads. We’ll even get to learn how to connect a circuit and work it onto a wearable or soft item! This workshop will be held on Level 5 of the Robertson Library (Building 105).

This is a free, fun and interactive workshop best suited for children between the ages of 8 - 13 years old. Spots will fill fast so make sure you register your place early! View other workshop dates and times for Curtin's School Holiday Program here.

Follow Park yourself at Curtin on Facebook for more information including free events held at Curtin’s Bentley campus or contact parkd@curtin.edu.au for specific queries.

Parking is an issue at Curtin so please consider catching public transport. Information on where to park can be found here and we recommend downloading and registering on the Cellopark app before arrival.

Parents are welcome to stay or you can go for a cup of coffee and come back to collect your child/ren at 11.30am.
