Event description

Description

Parents, if you’re looking for somewhere fun, educational and free to take your kids over the school holidays…. We know just the destination. Bring them over to Curtin University for a whole lot of jam packed fun in its new School Holiday Program!

It’s time for your little ones to get into the fun side of science! Bring them in for an interactive workshop led by Science Outreach who will not only teach us how to make our very own lava lamp, but we’ll get to see an Alka Seltzer rocket launch using white powders! The workshop will kick off from 9.00am and finish at 11.30am. Please meet in front of the library (bldg 105) at 8.45am.

This is a free, fun and interactive workshop run by Curtin's MAKERSPACE and is best suited for children between the ages of 8 - 13 years old. Spots will fill fast so make sure you register your place early! View other workshop dates and times for Curtin's School Holiday Program here.

Follow Park yourself at Curtin on Facebook for more information including free events held at Curtin’s Bentley campus or contact parkd@curtin.edu.au for specific queries.

Parking is an issue at Curtin so please consider catching public transport. Information on where to park can be found here and we recommend downloading and registering on the Cellopark app before arrival.

Parents are welcome to stay or you can go for a cup of coffee and come back to collect your child/ren at 11.30am.
