Event Details

  • Current Practice in Placental and Gynaecologic Pathology

Covering a broad range of topics in both placental and gynaecologic pathology, including clinically applied placental pathology classification, and aspects of molecular diagnostics, this 1.5 day course is presented by gynaecologic and perinatal pathologists from the three pathology services of the Victorian Perinatal Autopsy Service (VPAS), who also provide gynaecologic pathology services to the major gynaecologic teaching hospitals of Victoria.

Monash Pathology (Monash Health),
Austin Pathology (Mercy Hospital for Women)

Suitable for both pathologists and pathology registrars, the course includes online access to a set of scanned slides relating to the lecture topics. Places are limited.

  • Neoplasia of the lower female genital tract
  • Mesenchymal lesions of the uterus
