To tie in with the Summer Reading Club theme “Curious Creatures” children will be offered the opportunity to get some hands-on experience in robotics, specifically Scratch Animation.
Please book for one branch only, no bookings will be accepted for the same session at different library branches.

Q. Do I need to stay with my child?
A.Yes. Parental Supervision is required.
Mackay Regional Council Library Service is compliant with the requirements of the Queensland “Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act (2000)”
Children 8 years old and under must be supervised by a responsible person who is 16 years or older. Supervision requires that the person be within sight of the child at all times.
Children between the ages of 9 and 11 years old must have a parent, guardian, carer or sibling (12 years and older) in the building and providing active supervision.
