Site visit to Mt Druitt TAFE’s M.E.L.T. campus.
Finding enthusiastic, qualified young people is a challenge for many businesses in the industrial sector.
This is why we are introducing employers to Mt Druitt TAFE and their unique “M.E.L.T.” campus where students learn such subjects as Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical engineering, Automated palletising and a lot more.
Students have access to millions of dollars worth of the latest technology and equipment and they bring this knowledge to their new employers.
Our ‘tour guide’ is Sharon Kerr, the Director of Education, Business and Financial Services, M.E.L.T. and Mt Druitt College.
The evening will commence with a catered welcome at their on-campus restaurant, Create.
Mt Druitt TAFE also teaches business and financial services subjects and this is of relevance to the Support Network to the industrial sector, the employers of non-industrial businesses.
This visit is part of our vision of seeing the local industrial and non-industrial sectors grow and build a flourishing economy with more employment opportunities.
