Description

Discover the stories and places of Aboriginal cultural significance and heritage in Cumberland on this guided bus and walking tour, including the site of the First Act of Reconciliation in NSW.

You will be led by Aboriginal tour guides who will share insightful knowledge about the history and cultural heritage of some of the significant places of Cumberland and the importance of an Aboriginal Welcome to Country, Smoking and Cleansing Ceremony.

This is a guided bus and walking tour across Cumberland from Auburn to Prospect Hill, Pemulwuy and will end with a sit down bush tucker buffet cuisine and cultural performance.

Cumberland Council residents will get priority over non-residents when booking. , instead please phone us and you will be put on a waitlist. Some workshops may be postponed due to low numbers, or other circumstances outside of our control. If this happens you will receive an email notification. A reminder/confirmation email is sent 48hours prior to the event to confirm the workshop is going ahead.

Unable to attend or want to cancel your ticket? Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend an event so places can be offered to others on a waiting list. You can also cancel your ticked online through eventbrite. Frequent non-attendance at events may result in events being cancelled and individual bookings being refused or given lower priority booking status.
