Description

The Culture-centred Care Workshops promote principles of person and culture-centred care of people with a life-limiting illness, their families and communities. The workshop has been developed for health workers and allied health professionals who work with people with life-limiting illness and their families, in the capacity of a palliative care provider.

Topics Include:

  • Palliative Approach to Care

  • Diversity in contemporary Australian society

  • Culture-centred communication

  • Providing person-centred care

  • Support for people from culturally diverse backgrounds at end-of-life
