Love planting trees? Do you care about the environment? Are you interested in the well-being of environment and enjoy being out in nature?
Come and plant with us!
Melbourne Water are partnering with NatureWest to hold a planting day at the reserve next to Skeleton Creek at Hoppers Crossing. Our team will prepare the area, the holes will already be dug, we’ll have the plants and tools – you’ll be able to focus on planting and watering the plants and put rabbit-proof guards around them.
By taking part, you’ll help to improve the health of Skeleton Creek, enjoy the outdoors, meet other people and have some fun.
Please wear sturdy shoes, bring your own water and if you have them, gardening gloves. Food will be provided after the planting.
If you have migrated recently, a while ago, are a refugee or asylum seeker – and want to be part of a special planting day. Come and join us. Bring your family.
Bookings are essential. Registrations close on 20th May.
