The Couch Outloud® presents “CULTURAL CONCOURSE”
Is there a future for the Gold Coast’s arts community?
The economic pain of 2020, and especially the border lock downs and social distancing/isolation requirements that everyone has had to endure, have hit the Gold Coast Arts and Entertainment communities especially hard.
But what of the future?
Can our once vibrant Arts and Entertainment communities bounce back in 2021 and beyond?
This is the question that is being discussed, amongst others, at The Couch Outloud®’s “Cultural Concourse” evening.
The main topic to be discussed on the night is the proposed future plans for the Gold Coast’s development in regards to infrastructure, arts and community and the event’s guest speakers are in the know!
As well as sharing their memories of Gold Coast past, the dynamic combination of guest speakers will also be opening up about their future visions and insights into the re-energising and rebuilding of our city’s cultural growth.
Their combined view is that It is crucial to consider that future developments align with initiatives that cultivate hope and civic engagement for the common good of the community. They understand that only by all of us working together with a shared vision to contribute to Gold Coast City as a place to push new boundaries in creativity, discourse and discovering what’s possible, can we thrive and lead a cultural resurgence!
